Antoine Paul Richter, June 19, 1976 – Sept. 17, 2014
Antoine Richter will be remembered for his smile, laugh and endless stories, which he shared with everyone he met. He was exceptionally kind and giving. Antoine made friends everywhere he went. He loved his family deeply.
Antoine had a special way with animals and they loved him. He especially loved the family dogs. He enjoyed playing cards, games and trying to hit the jackpot in KENO. He also loved the outdoors and music from the 80’s. Antoine was a passionate fan of the Montana Grizzlies football team, the Chicago Bears and NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr.
Antoine overcame many challenges in his life and was called “phenomenal” by people who knew him. His achievement of many difficult goals is inspiring.
Antoine was born in Ainsworth, Neb. June 19, 1976. He graduated from Butte High School in 1994.
He is survived by his parents, Michael and Linda Kay Richter of Townsend; his brother Jeffrey Richter and wife Bethany of Billings; his sister Larque Goodson and her daughter Camille of Portland, OR; grandparents Cecil and Marcella Richter of Onida, S.D.; and three uncles, an aunt and several cousins.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Alberta Mae and Paul Jean Petty and Paul Jean’s second wife, Noreen Petty.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. with the family receiving friends from 5-6 p.m. on Monday, Sept. 22 at the Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home, 212 Broadway, Townsend. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 23 at the funeral home. Memorials in Antoine’s name are suggested to Nightingale Nursing and Caregiving, 4185 N. Montana Ave., Ste. 4, Helena, MT, 59602-7668.
