Ardell Charlotte Herr died peacefully on November 24,2022. She was the daughter of Reka and Henry Bloom of Taylor North Dakota.
She married the love of her life James Herr on June 4,1961 that was when they started their adventures.
Ardell graduated from Taylor High School and went to Bismarck School of nursing. After graduating she went on to have a long career in nursing as a registered nurse. She worked in the Livingston hospital, the White Sulphur Springs Hospital. She finished her career in the Broadwater health clinic after 42 years.
Ardell had a saying give me wheels; I will travel. She and James had great adventure thru Alaska and going south. The two of them loved the outdoors and camping. Her other passions were flowers and taking care of her yard, she could be found many hours digging in the dirt. In the winter she quilted and did cross stitch. One of her favorite things was to bake bread, she had a specialty for making buns. Her children benefited from that when they came home, she always sent fresh buns home.
She found great joy in being with her family, her children always came first. She was their biggest cheerleader. She loved her grand-children and great-grandchildren and enjoyed seeing pictures of them.
Ardell is preceded in death by James Herr (husband), Doris Ann Moore (sister,) Max Bloom (brother), and Maryann Miller (sister-in-law). She is survived by brothers Harlan Bloom and Jim Bloom; her children James Herr, Steve Herr, and Brenda Dean; her grandchildren Josh Dean, Dylan Dean, and Tanner Herr; and her great-grandchildren Adelinda Dean and Karson Herr.
Any memorials can be sent to Meals on Wheels in White Sulphur Springs, MT 59645.
There is a celebration of life planned for June 3, 2023 in White Sulphur Springs, MT with a graveside service at the Mayn Cemetery in White Sulphur Springs followed by a backyard potluck BBQ to be announced.

Ardell was a very special person. She was always there for my mom and the hospital. Sometimes when I was kid it seemed like Ardell, Betty and my mom kept it going. She was very sweet and a great nurse. Love and memories to her family.
