Beulah May Walter, 86, passed away peacefully in her sleep on February 8, 2015, after developing serious health issues. She was born in Townsend, Montana, on July 4, 1928; Beulah was the only child of John and Lillian Buckingham.
After marrying Tom Walter in 1951, Beulah moved to White Sulphur Springs and lived there for the rest of her life; Tom died in 1994. She will be missed by her children, Linda Hutchison (Tom) of Helena; Theresa Markovich (Bert) of Seattle; and Gary Walter of White Sulphur Springs. Beulah enjoyed her seven grandchildren—Bryan and Christine Hutchison; Megan, Matt, and Joe Markovich; Angie (Sean) Ringer and Nichole Walter; great grandchildren Blake and Blair—and her many nieces, nephews, and friends.
For many years, Beulah was a member of the ODO Club and active in a number of civic organizations including the VFW and Rainbow Girls. She also enjoyed going to lunch every day at the Senior Center and volunteering for its various activities. For a number of years, Beulah worked at the Spa Motel and the Castle.
A memorial service celebrating Beulah’s life will be held at 1:00 p.m. Thursday, February 12, 2015 at Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home in White Sulphur Springs. A reception will follow the memorial service at the White Sulphur Springs Senior Citizens Center.

Our condolences to Beulah’s family..we always loved how she would tip her head down looking at you over her glasses with bright eyes, looking us straight in the face letting you know her thoughts. Her smile and huge laugh always made us smile. Oh and i can’t forget how she cruised around town in the car checking everything out..We will miss you, but know that you are with our Lord praising His glory.
