Brian was born on September 25, 1969 to Neil and Jan Zimmerman in Rice Lake, Wisconsin. He was raised on a dairy farm until the age of 9 and moved to Montana. Where he lived in Bozeman and Helena until 1987.

In the summer of 1985 he met the love if his life Melissa, in Helena, Montana. After Melissa graduated from high school in 1987 he convinced her to move with him to White Sulphur Springs to begin their life together and married on March 1, 1988. Even though they themselves were just kids Melissa‘s brother Roy Golemon moved in with them to finish his high school years. Brian consider Roy his brother and best friend throughout his lifetime.

Together Brian and Melissa raised three wonderful children Kevin, Cody, and Cassi. His family meant everything to him and his children are his pride and joy. Throughout his life Brian gave great pride in everything he did. He always gave credit to Ken Mikesell for making him the man he became and was loved by everyone. The Mikesell’s we’re not just an employer to him, they were his family.

Brian was proceeded in death by Neil and Jan Zimmerman, and Ken and Mary Mikesell. He is survived by his wife Melissa, children Kevin, Cody and Cassi (Michael), brother Roy Golemon, a sister Brenda (California), many nieces and nephews as well as the Mikesell family, all of White Sulphur Springs, Montana.

Brian was an extraordinary man and will be greatly missed by all!
