Chloe Fay Scott passed peacefully October 30, 2014. She was born May 1, 1940 in Miles City, Montana to Chloe Pearl Striker and Clifford Bunn. She graduated from Dawson County High School in Glendive. She married her high school sweetheart, Wayne W. Scott. They had three children; Laural Annette (Lori Ann), Winston-Salem, North Carolina, Cheryl Lynn Goosen (Cheri), Helena and baby Alan Wayne, who died shortly after his birth.
She was very involved in her community; Zion Lutheran Church, Christopher Robin Preschool, This N That 4-H Club and the Wet Devil Swim and Dive Teams. She loved to share her joy of sewing while working as a buyer for Anderson’s Dept Store. After her husband’s disability, she dedicated herself to his care. They grew trees at their ranch, Scott’s Evergreens and did cedar lathe work. Together they picked, tumbled, and polished agates found on the Yellowstone River. Chloe found comfort and strength in the words of the Bible.
She is survived by her three siblings; Paul Bunn, Columbia Falls, Miriam Haley, Butte, and Mark Bunn, Anchorage, Alaska, her two girls, son-in-law, Bill Goosen, Lori’s fiance’ Mark Boone and her granddaughter, Nikki Goosen. And also by many precious nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Thank you to the wonderful staff at the Broadwater Health Center, Townsend for their tender personal care. Memorials may be given to Zion Lutheran Church, Glendive, Montana.
A memorial service celebrating Chloe’s life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, November 8 at the Broadwater Health Center in Townsend.

Chloe and Wayne were our first neighbors and friends when we moved to Glendive. She was always a warm, fun, spiritual, beautiful woman! She and Wayne had a marriage made in heaven. It’s rare to find such a perfect couple. They raised their wonderful kids with love and made them the great people they are today….She will be missed…..RIP Chloe!!!

I cleaned my father, Dale Striker’s house, the summer before he died, and found a book in his closet with some tracts, “Vision Beyond the Veil” by H.A. Baker. Children in an orphanage in China got trips to heaven without dying. This is available on Amazon or from Osterhus in Minneapolis. Ruth. givingyeshua@yahoo.com

Dear Bunn and Scott families, extended family, and friends. Chloe Fay showed her love of life and family every day I ever saw her or talked to her. Even when she was ill and in pain, as was often the case. The Wangsvick family, and especially my mom, Doris Striker Wangsvick, adored her. She was the center of fun almost anywhere. I love this picture of her because it truly shows her vivacious personality. She will be missed. And missed. And missed.
