To the family and friends of CIndy Hale,I just recently heard of her passing. I am so sorry to hear this. I enjoyed working with her in Colstrip. She and I both enjoy the classic cars and spoke often of going to a car show together – her in her Red and White Chevelle and I in my Purple Chevelle. She will be missed – she was such well traveled person with so many stories. Hold close to your memories.

Oh, Cindy. I’ve not seen you in a couple of decades, but, as everyone is saying, you were a joy, one of a kind, easy to laugh with, legendary. You were also a true asset to the Antarctic Program. And I always thought you were going to make a Great old lady with a little bit of the devil in your eyes. You have moved on way too soon. I wish you could feel my hug.

I heard of Cindy’s passing just now 3 months later. I was part of her homies group in Antarctica and Denver. We remain close with Rick as well to this day. She was crazy fun! We still use “Cindy-isms” around our house with a chuckle and a sparkle in our hearts with her memory. We feel her vibration still. RIP dear girl. Sending love up to the stars for you.

Oh Cindy, we hadn’t heard from you for ages but assumed you were still going strong. We met you through Rick en route to Antarctica and you will always be remembered here in Christchurch, New Zealand. We have a photo of you on our fridge. Happy memories!

Oh Cindy! You were too young to cross the river. But you packed three lifetimes of adventure and friendship into your days. What an unforgettable character! You always cracked us up with your ‘tude and choice of words. There was never anyone like you. Toughest chick on the “ice”! Fair winds and following seas, young one. You’ll be sorely missed!

I have recently been informed of Cindy’s passing. She was was a brilliantly flaming torch who’s fuel emptied to quickly.
Without question anyone who met her soon realized her intelligence, especially if it was questioned!
Cindy was a good friend to my wife, Faye and myself during our many months icebound. She is missed!
May Cindy and Faye be playing cards on having a toddy together!
