Obituary for David E. Kieffer
David E. Kieffer, born January 4, 1944, in St. Paul, MN, passed away peacefully on November 14, 2024, with his wife and daughter by his side.
David is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Sharon (Larson) Kieffer; his daughter Allison (Brandon); and his cherished grandchildren, Alexandra and Anders. He is also survived by his brothers, Charles Kieffer (Sandra) and Earl Kieffer (Patty), along with his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Elaine (Hendrickson) Kieffer, and his brother Michael Kieffer.
David proudly served in the U.S. Army for three years and was an active member of the Knights of Columbus. He was a talented athlete and community leader, earning the prestigious Dick Bradley Male Outstanding Letter Award for his exceptional performance in both hockey and football, as well as his leadership and dedication to serving others. David remained a lifelong hockey enthusiast and carried a deep love for sports throughout his life.
Private funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024, at 3 PM at Holy Cross Church, 101 S. Walnut Street, Townsend, MT.
