On August 4 , 2016 Elaine Clark was called home. Elaine (Tooker) Clark was born May 1923 in Regent, ND to VA Tooker and Elsie (Van Buskirk) Tooker. The Tooker family moved from Regent, ND to Butte, Montana in 1925. Elaine graduated from Anaconda High School in 1941 and then attended Butte Business College. Her first job was at Intermountain Transportation in Anaconda where she did the bookkeeping for her father until 1944. Elaine married Joseph Patrick Clark in October of 1945 at St. Peters Parish in Anaconda Montana. They lived in Anaconda, where their two sons were born, until 1960 when they purchased the Ralph Lockwhich ranch in Winston, Montana. Elaine was an active participant in the ranching operation and was also active in Broadwater County Cattle Women and Broadwater County Farm Bureau. Elaine would like to be remembered for her smile and sense of humor. She was preceded in death by her husband Joe and sisters Joyce and Lucile. She is survived by her sons, David (Barbara Cloud) Clark of Winston, and Timothy (Dawn Lynn Metcalf) of Dell. Five grandchildren: Bonnie (Solomon) Sipes of Arizona; Gregory (Sara) Clark of Washington; Brian (Kandi) Clark of Montana; Jodi (Wes) Miner of Montana; Faye (Chuck) Maddox of Montana; and 11 great grandchildren.
