Ezra “Dean” Nelson, age 84, of Townsend

On 9-1-18, Ezra “Dean” Nelson passed away at the age of 84 at Broadwater Health Center in Townsend, MT. Dean was born in Tremonton, Utah on October 21, 1933 to Chester and Myrtle Nelson.

Dean moved to Montana as a teen with his parents when they purchased the Park Trail Ranch near Toston in 1949. He moved back to Utah with his parents in 1956.

Dean spent most of his life working in agriculture or driving trucks. Dean loved talking about cars, tractors, big machinery, and farming. Simple things made him happy.

Dean moved back to Montana in 2007 so he would be closer to his sister, Elaine Hensley.

Dean was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, Ross and Eugene, and his 2 sisters, Verda Wistisen and Elaine Hensley.

No services are planned. Dean will be laid to rest at Brigham City Cemetery in Brigham City, UT next to his parents and brothers.
