Frances Madeline Luton passed away March 10th, 2021 at the age of 84.
Frances resided in Townsend Mt. Everyone knew her as Maggie. She was born January 4th, 1937 to Newton and Edith Doggett. She was born and raised on a small farm in Townsend Mt. She loved tending to her father’s sheep as well as all other animals. She worked at Green’s Market and Bob’s IGA as a clerk for many years. Though she traveled other places she always returned home to Townsend and spent the bulk of her life there. And continued living on her parent’s homestead until she passed.
Maggie loved reading her bible and had spent her past time studying the stars. She has a great love for astronomy and all things related to outer space. Her love of animals, as well as her family and friends were her greatest attribute.
She was preceded in death by her Father and mother, Newton and Edith Doggett, as well as her brother Earl Bennett (Bud) Doggett, and sister Elenor.
Frances is survived by her children Calvin Whitney, Robin Whitney, And Natalie Alexander. As well as brother Ronnie. Grandchildren Misty Whitney, Shawn Whitney, Richie Whitney, Kaylene Whitney, Leland Alexander, Nicholas Alexander. Great grandchildren Korlyn Sweeney, Dominic Dockery, Baylie Whitney-Jolly, Jaxson Jolly.
Revelations 21:4: “He will wipe away every tear from their eyes and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away. Amen”
A Visitation is set from 12:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home, 212 Broadway, Townsend. A Graveside Service is scheduled for 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 17, 2021 at Deep Creek Cemetery, Townsend, MT.
