Gary was the best kind of person. As good a friend as you could hope for. Full of love and humor. He was a man who never failed to mention how proud he was of his family. How lucky he was to be married to Kathy, how proud he was of his son’s and daughter-in-laws, and how adorable his grandchildren are. We will miss him too.

I have known Gary for almost as long as I have lived in Townsend and through the American Legion. In that time, he was the Chaplain as well as the past few years District 6 Chaplain. He made our meetings interesting and will be sadly missed. I enjoyed these last few Wednesday’s each week going out with Chuck to visit Gary and Kathy. Thanks for your service to God, Country, Family, and Community!

My prayers and thoughts are with you Kathy, and your family. Gary was a good friend or mine in my childhood, coming from Twin Bridges, we pal around together. I loved going to Hell Canyon and staying there with his folks and him. He had a great smile, loved his family, and always good for a laugh, like jokes. He will be dearly miss by all of us.
Bless you and your family.
