James Lester Cleveland died on Monday, November 26, 2012 at Mountainview Medical Center. He was born June 29, 1944 in Redstone, Montana to Helen and Calvin Cleveland. James worked at Cyprus Minerals for 18 years in Three Forks and later as a welder, logger, and rancher. He also worked as a camp host at Canyon Ferry before retiring to doing woodworking at home.
He is survived by his wife Darlene Cleveland, six sons; John, James, Phillip, Cory, Craig, and Clinton, extended family; Gerry Spring Jr, Rose (Keith) Danhof, Lanita (Randy) Wheeler, Melody (Gene) Dreidlein. His grandchildren; Mariah Cleveland, Cory and Craig Cleveland, Latisha (Pat) Wheeler, Jason (Amanda) Spring, Jennifer Ashmore, Heather (Andrew) Heath, Melissa (John) Corbin, Derek Danhof, Nichole (Pat) Bergan, Tyler Dreidlein, Laurel Rose Danhof, Lacy and Chase Cleveland. Great Grandchildren; Trevor, Makayla, Emily Deal, Quinton, Payton, Colton Spring, Cobra, Hayden Ashmore, Austin and Addi Rose Corbin, Awstyn Bergan. His brothers; Curtis, David (Lindalee), Tom (Judy), Allan (Carman), John, Gene (Lena), step-brother Jerry (Carolee) Olson, sister; Carol (Don) Makoff, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Helen and Calvin Cleveland, Mickey Cleveland and sister Pearl Henderson, grandson Colby Cleveland,
Cremation has taken place under the direction of Twichel Funeral Home and no services are planned. Contributions may be made to Sletten Cancer Institute in Great Falls or to Mountainview Medical Center.
