Jessica Jo Andersen-Wear was born on November 27, 1979, in Fort Sill, Oklahoma, to Deborah Duthie and Joey Taylor. As an Army family, they moved often living in Texas, North Carolina, and Hawaii. In 1992, after Joey retired from active duty, the family settled in Helena, Montana, to be closer to loved ones following Jessica’s scoliosis surgery.
Jessica graduated from Capital High School in June of 1997. After graduation, she worked hard and began building the family she loved so deeply. She welcomed her beautiful daughter, Kiele, on November 11, 2003, and her wonderful son, Cornell “CJ,” on March 30, 2010, with first husband John Billington.
Jessica was a devoted mother, friend, and provider who always made sure everyone around her was cared for. She was known for her fierce loyalty, quick wit, and generous spirit. On July 4, 2023, she married her best friend; Todd Andersen-Wear, expanding her family with the addition of Daven, Conner, and Harper. Jessica embraced her role as a mother figure not just for her children, but for their friends as well—always ready with a warm plate, loving advice, or a firm hand when needed.
Tragically, Jessica was taken from us too soon in a fatal car accident on September 28, 2025, at the age of 45.
She is survived by her children Kiele, CJ, Daven, Conner, and Harper; her beloved grandchildren Autumn and Ozzy; her husband Todd; her ex-husband John; her brother Joshua, and so many other family members and friends who loved her deeply.
Jessica was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She found joy in singing karaoke, celebrating Halloween, and indulging in all things pumpkin spice. Her horses were her passion, and she never missed an opportunity to spoil them with treats and affection.
More than anything, Jessica loved her family. Her heart was open to anyone in need—offering a meal, a hug, or a safe space without hesitation. She had the biggest heart, the brightest spirit, and a presence that will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

I was devastated when I was told thst Jess was killed in a vehicle accident. She was so nice and I will miss her. My heart goes out to her brother Josh, her children and her husband Todd. So sad.
Sara Rae says
She was the heart of family, the one who brought smiles, warmth, and light into every room. She gave hugs so freely, shared her love so deeply, and always worked to bring happiness into the lives of those around her. She planned the gatherings, sang the songs, and made sure her children lived their best lives.
She was more than family—she was a true friend. In good times and hard times, she lifted others up and reminded us what love looks like in action. I was blessed to call her my my friend, and her presence will always live on in our hearts.

I worked with Jessica at the hospital here in Helena. She always so nice and always had a smile on her face. I did not know her personally, but nonetheless I was happy to have met her. I pray that her loved ones find peace and comfort in this awful time. May she RIP.

I’m so sorry that this happened. I’ve known her mom since 1964. Went to HS with her dad. And stayed with them in Hawaii when they were little. Jessica and Josh grew into wonderful people. This is awful beyond belief.
Chryl Poore says
Jessica was such a beautiful person. She had such a welcoming smile and we had a few chit-chats together at St. Pete’s where we both worked.
My heart goes out to Josh, her family and friends. May God’s love enfold you in His mighty love and healing touch.
May your memories console you with laughter…her warmth…and her cheerful spirit.

This hurts. What an amazing young lady whose light perfectly paired with Todd. My deepest condolences and prayers that her light will continue to shine out of her family always.

Gone WAY too soon but Jess will not be forgotten! Jessica was a light in a dark room. She always made me laugh and whenever we would run into each other around town I would get one of her amazing hugs. I will miss her quick wit and her giving spirit. To her children who are hurting, words cannot express how much your wonderful Mother will be missed and how much she loved you unconditionally. To Josh and other family members I am sending love and light during this incredibly difficult time and in the months that follow.
