June A. ‘Jackie Carlson’ Novark, age 90, passed away of natural causes on June 29, 2023 at the Mountainview Medical Center in White Sulphur Springs. She was born in White Sulphur Springs on July 31, 1932 at the Bowman Homestead, north part of the White Sulphur Springs.
June went to grade school at Twin Firs School at the Sky Ranch and 1 year of High School in White Sulphur Springs. She then went to Missoula to join her sister Betty Jane Carlson and graduated from Hell Gate High School, Missoula, in 1950.
June returned to the Sky Ranch in 1970. She married the late Bernard A. Novark in 1981 and joined his family.
June leaves behind a daughter, Deborah L. Anderson of Great Falls; Bernard’s family Becky Novark of Three Forks, MT, Cathy (William) of Walla Walla, WA, Jeff (Marsha) Novark of White Sulphur Springs, MT, Kim Novark of Vermont; 8 grandchildren; and loyal family friend Rick Greer.
