Kathleen A. DeCock, age 94, passed away on Saturday, August 25 at Wheatland Memorial Nursing Home.
Kathleen was born on the family ranch in Harlowton, MT on February 27, 1918.
After graduating from Harlowton High School, she attended university in Dillon and Scottsbluff. Kathleen went on to teach school in San Francisco, Judith Gap, and the Pine Hills east of Melville.
In 1947, she married Cornelius DeCock and they raised four children together.
Kathleen was a long-time Sunday School teacher at the Harlowton Wesleyan Church and a foster parent for many years.
She is survived by her daughter Ellen Gilger (Dusty), her sons Gary DeCock (Lela) and Randy DeCock (Arna), many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and countless adopted family members.
She had a great heart, was loved by many, and will be sorely missed. A funeral will be held on Saturday, September 1 at 11am at the Harlowton Wesleyan Church, burial will be at Harlowton Cemetery with a luncheon to follow.
