Katherine Ray “Kathy” (Mowery) Tell returned to Townsend, Montana upon learning she had been diagnosed with cancer. Her wish to return home was fulfilled by her aunt Helen, uncle Leon Harlson and cousin, Rebecca Soule.
Kathy passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends after a short battle of cancer, Sunday evening May 5, 2013. She was 37.
While living in Portland, Oregon she earned her degree at Western Business College, graduating in 2004. She enjoyed working as a mail processor. Her favorite past times were reading, swimming and walking.
Kathy is survived by her parents, Cindy and Bill Mowery and Robert and Gayle Casey; grandparents, Bonnie Charles and Lloyd Casey; sister, Christie (Mowery) and her husband, Brendon Lindsay; nephew, Dawson and niece Bree; brother, Billy and his wife Tiffany, nephews, Tyler, Levi and Conner; close friend, Robert Hadden and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A pot luck gathering in celebration of Kathy’s life will be held at 507 South Cedar Street in Townsend, Saturday, May, 11, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Memorials in Kathy’s name are suggested to the American Cancer Society or to Rocky Mountani Hospice.
