I am very saddened to learn of the death of your mother, Margaret Ickes. Miss Anderson was my third grade teacher at Lincoln School in Red Lodge, MT. An all- time favorite teacher, she was young and pretty, kind, patient and smart. We students loved her. She was special. Margaret and her siblings were also loved by my mother, Adeline Jarussi Donnes, who was their teacher on Tullock Creek. With Sympathy,

I was so sorry to hear of your mom’s passing. Mrs. Ickes was one of my favorite teachers in Custer. I have many fond memories of her and the lessons that she taught. I have a vivid picture of her in my mind right now, sitting in her swivel roller chair, talking to us kids in the classroom. She taught with passion, and I absorbed everything that she had to say. I regret that I never got to see her beyond my school years.

I was so sorry to hear about your Mom’s passing! I really enjoyed her as my teacher! She was my teacher for 3rd & 4th grades and then decided to teach 5th & 6th so I had her for 4 years! You are in my thoughts and prayers!
