In Memory Of

Marion P. “Sunny” Green, age 66 of Helena

January 10, 1955 – August 5, 2021

Marion Patricia “Sunny” Green (Judy), age 66, from Townsend, Montana, passed away at her home, August 4, 2021. Marion was born January 10th, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri to George and Charlotte Judy.

In the early 80’s, Marion received her Associates degree becoming an LVN in the state of Texas. Later in 2004, she became an LPN in Montana — which is where she eventually retired due to numerous health issues. She was a woman of many passions, whether it be taking care of others (particularly the elderly and disabled), fostering animals, or studying genealogy. She is a devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, where she enjoyed visiting teaching, participating in Relief Society, and going to the Temple with her church family.

Marion moved to Townsend in 2010 to be closer to her daughters and grandchildren, which is where she lived the remainder of her days.

While in Townsend she met many great friends. Whether it be Karen Benson, whom she enjoyed many lunches and visits with or Nancy Holland, who patiently taught her how to crochet despite Marion’s difficulties with her hands. Thank you both for being such great friends to our mom.

Marion’s unyielding love for her family showed in numerous ways. Every birthday, Christmas, and addition to the family was met with various handmade gifts that she had spent hours creating.

Marion is preceded in death by her father George, mother Charlotte, sisters Joyce Byrd and JoAnn Cohen, and two brothers who died in infancy.

She is survived by her daughters, Valisa MIlligan, Andrea Flores, and Angela Flores Grandchildren: Jayson (Dani), Shalla (Travis), Adriana, Boston, Nathan, Amber, Brent, and Marilyn. Great Grandchildren: Ruth, Roland, and Haisley. Niece: Michelle and Family. Nephews: Michael, Jamie and family, and Philip and family. She is survived by numerous cousins, friends, and church family. She is loved by many and will not be forgotten.
