So sorry to hear about the loss of your mother so soon after the loss of your dad. You won’t remember but when we moved to Townsend in 1979, you guys were the first family we met. You were visiting Grandma Ann Sitton next door, and your mom saw our two children outside and decided to come over and introduce your family. Surprise! Colleen and Renee were the same ages as Sara and Kelly. We have many good memories of those early years and all the years Mary worked for us.

Mary was the best lady. I have so many good memories of chatting with her while picking up my daughter from her daycare. Mary loved those kids so thoroughly that my daughter never wanted to leave, and couldn’t wait to be dropped off in the morning! I will always be grateful for the gift of peace of mind, knowing Mary was taking such good care of my kiddo while I was working. She leaves behind a beautiful family and a wonderful legacy of people like me and my family who were fortunate enough to know her and benefit from her kind and wise care of our children.

I just found out about Mary. I saw the house for sale, knew something had happened, and saw that Mary and Dave had both died. I am so sorry for your losses. I remember all those July 4 parties and all the other great times we had. I will always carry fond memories with me.
