Nancy Marie Wilson was born November 28, 1984, in Kalispell, Montana. She was joined by her sister, Vicki in 1986. Her parents are Bob and Shirley Wilson. She spent the first six years of her life on the ranch located north and east of Big Timber, MT. She enjoyed ranch life and was fearless around livestock.
To be closer to school, the family moved to St. Maries, Idaho. There they farmed along the St. Joe River. The girls took swimming lessons that first year and were both accomplished swimmers. She was a good student and enjoyed school. Nancy was active in sports – catcher on the girls’ softball team & a volleyball player.
When the farm flooded, because of a breached dike, we moved back to Montana. She spent the rest of her teenage years on the farm on Greyson Creek. She attended Townsend Schools and later received her GED.
She was a good cook – the pizzas she made were delicious!!! She first worked at the Betsy kitchen and later started Circle H Café on North Front Street.
Nancy has 2 sons, Riley and David. She loved her children unconditionally. Nancy had a colorful life and many friends & experiences. She lived life to the fullest.
Nancy passed away March 4, 2024, in Butte. She will be missed by all who knew her.
Nancy is survived by her two sons, Riley and David, sister, Vicki Wilson, mother, Shirley Wilson; three cousins, Shayden, Jared, Kierra and extended family and many friends.
Visitation will be from 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, 2024, at Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home in Townsend. A funeral service celebrating Nancy’s life will be 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 13, 2024, at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church 301 N. Cherry Street Townsend. A burial will follow at Deep Creek Cemetery near Townsend. .
