Ollie louise Lavender passed away on March 29, 2016 after an extended illness at the Broadwater Health Center in Townsend Montana. Ollie was born in Spokane Washington on October 19, 1933 to Albert and Grace Maupin. Ollie grew up in Ione, Washington and met and married Damon Lavender in 1952. Ollie and Damon were happily married for 58 years and raised five children-Rose and (Paul) Pidde of Glenrock,Wy., Kathy and (Mike) Harrington, of Wilbur, Wa. , Jeffrey and (Kim) Lavender of Livingston, Mt., Sherrie and (Tom) Claibourn of Entiat, Wa., and Allen and (Paula) Lavender of Townsend, Mt.. Ollie is survived by her 5 children, 10 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and her sister Ruby Emerson. Ollie was preceded in passing by her husband Damon Lavender, her parents Albert and Grace Maupin, and her brothers Alfred and Lee Maupin. Cremation has taken place and graveside services will be held at a later date.
