Patsy Joan Ross, Townsend, Mt passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 22, 2015. She was the beloved wife & soul mate of Carman Gail Ross. Mom was born Patsy Joan Berry in Norfolk, Nebraska, February 24, 1933. She married Carman June 26, 1949. They had 5 children, 9 grandchildren and 12 great grand children.
Patsy was a kind, loving, and devoted mother and wife. Her supreme goal in life was to care for her husband and family. Carman was injured in a construction accident in 1978. From that time forward, Patsy never left his side. She was Dad’s inspiration and the love of his life; Pat and Carman shared infinite laughter, love, and tears. Mom was devoted to providing a loving, happy family life and her unconditional love was the glue that binds – forever. She did a tremendous job – always balancing the needs of her family. Patsy and Carman loved Montana. They enjoyed bird watching, camping, gardening, and most of all fishing with their children and grandchildren. Mom was a very special person and loved by all of those whose lives she touched. All who have known her will miss her dearly. We love you mom.
Patsy is survived by her husband of more than 65 years, Carman, and five children; Danny Ross (Ginny) of Kennewick, WA. Debbie Goodyear (Ted)of Townsend, MT. Sue Fairchild of Townsend, MT. Ron Ross (Ginger) Belgrade, MT. Linda Ross of Sumner, WA. Sister Barb Howard (Beej) of Stickney, SD, brother Ward Messing of Idebel, OK, as well as numerous great-grandchildren, grandchildren, brother-in-laws, sister-in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Patsy was preceded in death by her mother, father and brother and many other loved ones.
A celebration of Patsy’s life will be held at a later date.

We wanted to share our condolences with Patsy’s family. It is never easy to have to say goodbye to a loved one. The pain of loss can be unbearable. Our Creator promises us that one day this pain will be just a memory. That beautiful promise can be found at Revelation 21:3,4. Our pain and suffering will be a thing of the past, and we can cry tears of joy as we welcome back the ones that we love so much. We hope you find comfort in those promises.
