On the morning of March 31 at 5:27 Roben passed away with his wife Sharon by his side at his home in Townsend MT, after a 2 1/2 years battle with lung cancer. Roben was 65 years old.
Roben was born in Lead South Dakota on December 17th 1953 to Lois Emmons. He graduated from high school in 1972 from Lennox High in Lennox California. After high school Roben became a journeyman carpenter and worked construction. Roben was married to his wife Sharon in 1978. Shortly after that his son James was born. Roben continued to work in construction until he was permanently disabled due to an accident at work. In 1993 Roben and his family moved to Fort Benton Montana and then relocated to Townsend in 1998.
Roben loved listening to music and fishing. He loved to be out on the lake fishing with his music playing. He loved to hunt in the winter with his friends. Roben enjoyed building and doing repairs around the house. Roben also spent time with his other “Kids” his two cats Buster and Sis, and his dog Molly
Roben is survived by his wife Sharon, his son James and his mother Lois Sample.
Roben was cremated and his ashes will be spread on Canyon Ferry lake at a later date with his family and close friends.
