Sandra L. McDanel was born on April 14, 1940 in Lebanon, Missouri to parents Charley and Doris Bond.
Sandra passed away at her home surrounded by family and friends on the evening of May 13, 2018. She was an only child and married the love of her life Skip McDanel on June 11, 1959.
Sandra was preceded in death by her husband, and is survived by their six children; Gary McDanel, Karen Collins, Brad McDanel, Cindy Watson, Mark McDanel, Keith McDanel, and their families, including too many grandchildren and great grandchildren to count. They settled in Montana from Missouri in the spring of 1973 where they grew roots and raised their children. In addition to their own children, many other families, and children were also raised and or cared for and fed in the McDanel household. Throughout the years all who entered were accepted as family. She was loved by all who came to know her, and she gave all she could give to anyone in need.
A Book Signing will be available from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Friday, May 18, 2018 at Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home, 103 E. Garfield, White Sulphur Springs. A Funeral Service is scheduled for 1:00 p.m. Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Stevenson Wilke Funeral Home with a burial to follow the service at the Mayn Cemetery in White Sulphur Springs.
