Sharon Leiner Doig, a Navy veteran nurse died on December 8, 2024 in Townsend, Montana at the age of 77.
She loved her 3 children and her 3 grandchildren. Sharon is survived by her three sons. Robert (Jennifer), Peter (Penny) and Bill. Sharon is also survived by her three grandchildren: Madalyn, Matthew and Dylan. She was preceded in death by her brother, Barry Leiner, her sister Maryann Fiora, her mother Ann, and parents Howard and Alice Leiner.
She began her life in Jersey City, New Jersey. After school she joined the Navy and rose to the rank of Lt. JG. After the Navy, her career as a registered Nurse lasted for 30 years. After retiring she moved to Townsend, Montana where she became very involved in the community. Sharon lived a long and fulfilling life involved in her Veteran activities, church, Lions Club, American Legion, Crimson Bluffs, and cheering on the Navy in the annual Army v. Navy game.

Sharon was always willing to help with projects when she was in Lions. Terry and I fondly remember her at the corner of the Commercial selling tickets to the circus for a whole weekend! Quite a worker!
