After a long and courageous battle with kidney disease, Tim passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 23rd at St. Peter’s Hospital in Helena, Montana, 2 days shy of his 61st birthday.
He was born July 25, 1962, in Townsend, Montana to Virgil and Sherry (Davis) Gregory.
He was an avid outdoorsman, growing up in the mountains with his father and later continuing the family tradition as a logger. Tim enjoyed every season, from snowmobiling and ice fishing to riding his ATV and taking his boat to Newlan Creek Lake. He was blessed with many wonderful friends who joined him on many adventures and travels. Tim had a special place in his heart for his many dogs that would accompany him everywhere he went.
He is preceded in death by his father Virgil; paternal grandparents Isreal and Lillie; and maternal grandparents Chet and Audrey.
Survivors include his mother Sherry of Great Falls; brothers Jim of Helena and Wade (Kelly) of Lolo; sister Jodi of Great Falls; nephews Justin, Zeb, Jesse, Jamie, Kyle, Jake and Taylor; nieces Hannah, Kamarina and Larissa; and six great nephews and nieces.
Pastor Darwin Scofield will officiate a service of remembrance at Mountain View Community Church in White Sulphur Springs on Saturday, September 9th, at 11:00 am, with an interment to follow at Mayn Cemetery.
The family would like to thank the outpatient dialysis unit at St. Peter’s Hospital for the many years of compassionate care that they gave Tim, providing him the strength to continue treatment.
