Wallace Earl Buckingham went to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and his two sons, Baby Boy and Wade on December 10th, 2015. Wally was born in White Sulphur Springs, Montana to Walter and Marie Buckingham on March 20, 1931. He attended school in White Sulphur Springs and worked on his father’s ranches. In 1953, he enlisted in the army and served two years. Upon his return home in 1956, he married Kay Wetherell. They had four children, Baby Boy, Tracy, Terry and Wade. In 1966, they purchased the Stoyanoff Ranch and operated it while leasing Eagle Creek Ranch until 1977.
At that time, Wallace and Wayne bought the Eagle Creek Ranch and ran it until 2006. Kay and Wally also purchased a home in Billings where they frequented until Wade graduated high school, when they then moved back to the ranch full time.
Wally served on the School Board and was a member of the Montana Stockgrowers Association as well as a member of West Side Baptist Church in Billings. He enjoyed going to their condo in Mesa, AZ to golf in the winters. Wally didn’t swim but he enjoyed the sun and sitting by the pool and their many friends there.
Wally was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Marie, his two sons Baby Boy and Wade and his niece, Karen Fowlie. He is survived by his devoted wife, Kay, his daughters, Tracy and Terry (Randy), two granddaughters, Mikala and Milaka, sister, Virginia; brother Wayne (Tary) and close family friend, Lori Reed as well as several nieces and nephews.

Kay and girls, I was saddened to read of Wally leaving all of us but, am so glad he’s not suffering any more and doesn’t have to have dialysis. My two kids were both on it for far to long and I know without it they couldn’t live but, am so glad they don’t have it any more and now Wally and my husband and two kids can be free from pain.
I’m praying for you and your family.
Love ya Helen

Kay and family- Sorry to hear about your loss. My grandparents and my dad thought the world of Wally. He was a very kind and generous man and those traits were passed to your children. May time ease your pain and sorrow.
